Supper

Today I was told by my Doctor that I have to watch my sodium and fat intake, So I decided to make my favorite meal tonight, and start tomorrow.. I will still eat this, but sadly only about once a year.

I wonder if the family would like quiche for Christmas or Thanksgiving??  LOL, only kidding!

I might be putting healthy recipes on here, if I can find any that are good tasting.

Goodbye mac and cheese, sour cream on my potatoes and all you other yummy dishes.AAAAAHHH!

 

Broccoli and Ham quiche with sliced tomatoes and parsley on top, YUMMMMM!

Maybe a tossed salad on the side.  (but since it is my fatty farewell meal, I will probally just eat quiche :^}

Valentines Day- Chocolate covered Cherries

In my families cookbooks, I put family pictures in here and there to make it more personal. I was wondering if anyone would like to do that as well and if you do, let me know and I will share more of the frames I make for ours. This one is for Valentines Day, But it could also be used in any digital scrapbook.

Easy Super Bowl Buffalo Wing Pastries

I liked this recipe page so much that I used it for my blog.  I still find it difficult to make the blog graphics so that they are not blurry when I shrink them and I can never seem to get the header to be centered. But I'm still happy with it.

Peanut Butter Fudge

Chicken Casserole

 Here's a couple more that we like and I think you will too.

The popcorn balls are just that, popcorn balls! You can make snowmen, but I just said that 

because I wanted to make a winter scene, LOL

You could use fruit roll-ups and paint with royal icing for the scarf. Or you could

roll out taffy and make the extras with that or what-ever you can think of that might be better

for the snowman. Its just plain fun for everyone in the family to make

Figgy Pudding with Custard sauce

I have to admit that I have not made Figgy pudding before, But I thought I would try it this year. 

It just sounds so much like a vintage Christmas.  It seems that most supermarkets don't sell real suet, So you will need to find a local specialty butcher or meat market.
