COOKBOOK COVER

I made up a sample cookbook cover and a few blank pages, so you could start your own cookbook.
I did not add a spine graphic because the size of it would be decided by the size of binder you purchased, 1/2, 1, 1 1/2 or 2'' thick. All you need is a normal binder that you can slip a picture into the covers of. (You can get these almost anywhere). and a bunch of vinyl page protectors.
You can scroll down through my blog and find a lot of recipes to put into it as well as blank pages that you can add you own recipes to.

This is a link the another great blog that you can find many more interesting and yummy recipe pages.

My first quilt

I have wanted to make a quilt for a really long time, But felt very intimadated by the thought of all those little pieces going together right.
This past week I used paint shop to design what I wanted it to look like. And enlarged each piece to the correct size for a paper pattern.
Then I committed myself by going shopping and buying the fabric.(oops! I gotta do it now!)
The fabric prints were not the same of course, But I think it will be even prettier.
I hope it doesn"t end up in a box in the closet. LOL like a bunch of other things I have started.
This is how the center flower looks. It has a little brighter colors than it looks here. This is as  far as I got. I love the rose print I found.

WONTONS AND NO-BAKE COOKIES

I know! I know! They don't go very well together. But they are both things I could eat until they came out my ears. So I hope you enjoy them too.
